Booking and contract conditions for sailing courses and excursion sailings
Information required for booking:
- Name
- Phone number
- Course number and course level: introduction to sailing / sailor / archipelago master / evening sailing / excursion sailing / other event
When a customer reserves a place for an event, the reservation is binding.
Sea Lady Sailing has the right to cancel the event if there are less than the stated minimum number of participants (for courses and excursion sailings the minimum is 3 unless otherwise stated for each event). We will notify you of the cancellation no later than:
2 days before the event, if its duration is less than 2 days
2 days before the event, if its duration is less than 2 days
If Sea Lady Sailing cancels the event, the money paid by the customer will be returned in full. However, the primary aim is to find a replacement event suitable for the customer.
Training and excursion courses
After making the reservation, the customer will be sent a 150e invoice for the reservation fee. The final amount of the course fee is invoiced approximately three (3) weeks before the start of the course.
Cancellation conditions for sailing courses and excursion courses
In the event of cancellation of participation, the course fee will be refunded:
cancellation is before 30 days before the start of the course, we refund 100%,
14 days before the start of the course 50% and less than 14 days before the start of the course we do not refund the course fee.
We charge 75 euros as office expenses in connection with a possible refund.
Over night trips
Purjehduksilla, jotka kestävät yli 24h tai sisältävät yöpymisen, mutta eivät ole kursseja noudatamme Yleisiä matkapakettiehtoja. Purjehdusreissu (purjehdus ilman koulutusta) erääntyy maksettavaksi purjehduksen toisena päivänä.
Cancellation conditions for excursion sailing
The customer has the right to cancel his participation before the event. In this case, Sea Lady Sailing has the right to charge a cancellation fee as follows:
Office expenses announced in advance (75e) when the trip is canceled no later than 21 days before the start of the trip.
50% of the trip price when the trip is canceled later than 21 days but no later than 7 days before the trip starts.
75% of the trip price when the trip is canceled later than 7 days but no later than 3 days before the start of the trip
100% of the trip price when the trip is canceled later than 3 days before the trip starts.
If the trip has not been cancelled, but the customer does not arrive at the departure point as agreed, the customer will be charged 100% of the price of the trip.
If the trip has not been cancelled, but the customer does not arrive at the departure point as agreed, the customer will not be charged a fee if the sailing trip is canceled by Sea Lady Sailing. However, the primary aim is to organize a replacement event without incurring additional costs for the customer. 100% of the price of the trip will be paid.
In all cases of cancellation, Sea Lady Sailing has the right to charge the actual costs to be paid to the third party, e.g. boat rental.
Other information
Our prices include VAT.
We recommend that customers have their own accident and travel insurance.
During exceptional circumstances and possible restrictions, we follow the official instructions and act accordingly. This can cause changes especially for excursion sailings.
